Flower Magic is such a big subject, we can only touch
upon it in the magazine with a small introduction.
If Flower Magic interests you, then we urge you to investigate it, research it and practice it, as much as possible.
Working with flowers is relatively easy and a very enjoyable way to work your magic. If you can grow them in your garden, nurturing them would be all the better, but in this day and age that can be difficult to do, if you live in flat. If you live near wild public fields or woods where they grow nearby you can pick them wild, or you can buy them at your local florists, this will enable you to choose your stems.
Always respect your flowers when picking them, giving thanks as you do and never over harvest, only pick what you need. Pick flowers that have fully bloomed, but are not drooping, these are now at the end of their life cycle and are ready to be reborn again.
Never uproot your flower or plant, unless it is required, or you will end its life cycle if you have no intention of re-rooting. You may have beautiful flowers but they will never regrow, which can upset the balance of your magic.
When cutting your flowers always snip them at an angle down the stem giving enough room from the base, so you do
