Well, what better way to start a month than with the fabulous feasting and festivities of Beltane!
At last, we can really feel the warmth of the sun and enjoy long hours of daylight. The blossoms on the trees are in full bloom and everyone has a spring in their step.
Taurus is the predominant sign this month, (until the 20th). You’re in good company if you were born under Taurus - you share your star sign with the likes of George Clooney, Adele, Dwayne (‘The Rock’), Johnson, and Rami Malek to name just a few.
Peeps born in May are more likely to have an excessively positive attitude. Researchers found that people born in May consider themselves to be luckier than those born in any other month.
So let’s look at Taurus - The Bull!
The first words that spring to mind are dependable, reliable, and consistent. Routine is essential to them, and they really don’t like surprises! They are likely to be the only peeps calm in a room during a crisis. That pretty much sums up the basic Taurean.
Occasionally, their need for order and calm can make them seem a little dull, however, Taurans characteristics are multifaceted.
Yes, consistency is very important to them, but they do have a strong sense of adventure and seemingly endless energy for problem solving. Whilst they may appear self absorbed as friends, they make very good listeners.
On the other hand, Taureans are not all sweetness and light!
They really don’t take criticism well and once they have made their mind up, it’s nigh on impossible to change their perspective. It’s not unusual for Taureans to be very driven to become financially suc- cessful. Greed is one of their less likable traits. How- ever, they see it as a means of achieving their goal of stability.
It would be remiss of us to not mention the most famous couple of Taureans on the planet. The first, even though she was born in April is HRH Queen Elizabeth II, and of course Homer Simpson.
