 How do you make it?
It’s actually quite a simple process, but it takes a bit of effort and a lot of eggshells to
make a quantity of significance.
We would say collect at least 3 dozen eggshells to start, to make it worthwhile.
White eggshells from black hens would be perfect however, the influence and energy is from you. So everyday eggshells will do. The power you inject is yours.
Cascarilla Powder Ingredients & Tools
3 Dozen White Eggshells
Coffee Grinder
Mortar & Pestle
Jar or Container
Rinse out your egg shells thoroughly, making sure you clean out all the membrane from inside the shell, or you will end up with sticky powder and will have to start again.
After rinsing make sure they are completely dry before using them, I would say leave them at least 48 hours to make sure they are dry.
Get all your shells together, making sure they are brittle and place them into the coffee grinder/blender. Blend for 1 minute, it can be quite stinky, so make sure you pop the window open to ventilate the place and diminish the smell.
Once they have been reduced to tiny pieces, transfer them to your pestle and mortar either all at once or do bit by bit, and grind and reduce them into a fine powdered form. To store your powder, place it into a labelled dry jar or container, that is air tight so it does not harden or go bad.
You do not have to use a grinder/blender if you don’t have one, but they are worth the purchase if not. To grind them in your pestle and mortar will be an arduous chore, and for this batch depending on your speed and strength can take from 30 mins to a couple of hours, so it is well worth using the grinder/blender first.
