Callanish
Ancient single (or several) standing stone formations can be found throughout the length and breadth of the British Isles. The real reasoning and the true purpose and aim of the people who erected them will never be known.
During our recent dust off, we’ve discovered that Scotland has many ancient stone formations throughout the Highlands, and the Northern and Western Isles, that are seriously significant.
When we say they are significant, we mean it - we are talking amazing stuff.
Undoubtedly, the best example has to be the Standing Stones of Callanish. You’ll find they are often referred to as Calanais which is the Gaelic for this amazing site. Equally amazing is the fact that many of you (and us)
