Garden sticks can be made to look like wands, tie a bit of your plants favourite crystal to the top before pushing them into the soil.
Have a shed? Paint it to look like your witches cottage or workshop. To give it a witchy feel, put some pot plant shrubs that flower around the outside to make it look pretty and add a dash of colour.
The use of crystals can lend energy to your magical herbs. You can put crystals chips and chunks outside to adorn your flowers, pot plants and soils, or just for ornamental purposes, but please do make sure they don't mind sunlight so they don't break and also don't mind water, as living in the UK they will get plenty of that, and you don’t want them to dissolve.
If your garden plot is square or rectangular, bury 5 quartz crystals in it: one in each corner, and one in the centre. If your plant/herb garden is circular, imagine a sacred pentagram laying over the circle and bury the Quartz at what would be the five points.
You can place a Carnelian at the base of each plant when planting or potting up to encourage growth. Mix small pieces of Amethyst in with soil whenever you are preparing a new bed to help cleanse the area. When transplanting, place a Hematite into the hole or at the bottom of a pot to encourage strong and deep rooting. Be sure to cleanse, consecrate, and charge your crystals in your traditional ritual manner before using them in your garden.
Hang all over your garden wind chimes, mirrors (make sure they don't receive direct sunlight, or they could start a fire), pentacles, moons, suns, stars, anything that is personal to you. There are quite a few pentacles and wind chimes in the Flickering Garden, amongst other things, they can be quite musical at times.
What about an outdoor altar space? These can be relatively easy to build, all you need is a few bricks and slab or some slate may be nice for the top. pop the bricks underneath four legs and build as high as you need it.
