Set
28th May to 18th June
28th September to 2nd October
Set people are one of the action characters of the zodiac, they are continuously looking for a new challenge or simply a change. Whilst people born under Set can be charming and sociable, they are happiest when they are the centre of attention.
They’re a very determined, focused bunch that aim high with their goals and wont hesitate to put themselves first in order to reach them. It’s their energetic charisma that makes them excellent motivational speakers and great leaders. When they are not jumping out of a plane or zip lining, they are seekers of another sort. They are dedicated lifelong learners, happy to expand their horizons through knowledge.
The influence of Set changed (as did Sets appearance) many times over the centuries, varying from being one of the four principal Gods of the cosmos, to being the God of chaos. We are most familiar with him in his form as a ‘man jackal’.
Bastet
14th to 28th July
23rd to 27th September | 3rd to 17th October
People born under the sign of Bastet are sensitive, caring and most of all, highly protective of those close to them. They are romantics at heart and whilst they may not choose to admit it, they take great inspiration from art and music.
Don’t be fooled by their charming personality, they are very intuitive and size everyone up to be sure of their true motivations. Wherever possible Bastet peeps will do their utmost to avoid any confrontation, preferring to live in harmony and enjoy the good things in life.
True to their birth star sign, Bastet people can appear somewhat secretive, even a little mysterious. They often have a deep interest in otherwordly powers.
In terms of popularity, Bastet was second only to Isis in ancient Egypt. Bastets popularity stemmed from her function as the protector of women and children. Men also valued the women in their lives, so Bastets popularity was pronounced among men.
Sekhmet 29th July to 11th August
30th October to 7th November
The people of Sekhmet have a strong sense of justice and are professional perfectionists!
Surprisingly, they have a very optimistic outlook and have the ability to rise to an occasion even when that entails overcoming to do so.
These people are very proud and can at times be downright stubborn. They are only comfortable when they feel like they are in total control of themselves and their surroundings, fortunately for them they rarely make mistakes.
Despite having a quick temper, Sekhmet people are charming.
Whilst one of Sekhmet’s roles was that of the Goddess of war, she is more frequently featured as protector of the Pharaohs in both life and death.
Hence her image is widely portrayed throughout tombs and on sarcophagi.
