& welcome!
Let’s start with a BIG hello and welcome to the Bumper Edition edition of our Flickering magazine.
HELLO! Yep - we think that’s a pretty big hello.
Anything less would not be appropriate, as your support has just been fantastic, and we really cannot thank you enough.
We’ll start with humble apologies for not being able to bring you a July/August edition.
The support we had for our April May and June editions just blew us away, which made the decision to not produce a July/August edition so much harder.
The loss of a very dear friend and a significant personality within the Flickering family meant we really could not have produced an the editions to the same standard that we know you expect.
However, he was a huge fan of the Flickering and would have told us to “Go forth and multiply...your magazine”. We had a shared sense of humour.
So, we’ve combined a few bits that we were going to include in the July/August edition with the stuff we intended to include in the September magazine and have created this edition for you.
The months’ birthstone and magical properties are featured, along with both September
full and new Moon information, and our regular snippets on ancient Egypt.
Along with our usual features
on fascinating places,
a very revealing article on the Fae, the Celtic source of town names and so much more!
