Lets get to it!...
Lavender
Place the half filled saucepan of water (or just above half way mark of your mixing jar) on the hob and bring the water to a gentle simmer.
Meanwhile, place the beeswax coconut and olive oil in the mixing jar.
Now place your saucer upside down on on the bottom of the saucepan.
Place your mixing jar ontop of the saucer. The hot water in the saucepan is going to melt the contents of your mixing jar, which is why you use a saucer, as it raises the glass slightly so the water can't get into your mixing jar. This is by choice, not a necessity.
Use the handle of your wooden spoon to gently stir and swirl your mixture, helping it to melt and combine the ingredients in your jar.
Once your mixture has melted and it is all combined, you can remove them from the saucepan.
Now add your Essential Oils, one by one, mixing it in, as you do focus on what you want this balm for, give your mixture a complete boost with your intent.
You will start to smell all different aromas, as you add each one. Just wonderful!
As soon as you have added all your oils, pour your finished liquid balm into your storage jar, and as an extra you can always add some lavender buds or flowers. Now lleave to cool and solidify.
If you keep this wonderful sleep balm covered in a cool dark place, it can last for at least six, and most likely, nine Moons.
Please do allergy test all the oils to make sure you are not allergic. If when using your skin becomes blotchy or irriated stop use immediately and rinse the area, contact your GP if symptoms persist thereafter.
Do not forget to label your balm and write in your book what your ingredients are, always date your jar.
