Lets Get Magical
Peridot and magic...
Not surprisingly, the beautiful Peridot is associated with protection magic.
However, it has qualities that are often overlooked. It’s very much a visionary stone, which will boost not only your psychic abilities but also seriously enhance your personal awareness of your gift.
It’s a seriously good deflector of negativity, especially when worn or carried as its stabilising qualities will enhance your feelings of self-worth and thus reduce petty emotions of jealousy or anger.
This lovely stone is often used in spells and rituals for abundance and wealth, which may not put money in your bank account, but will surely enrich your life.

Peridot is one of the few gemstones that only comes in one color which is green! It can range anywhere from a light lime to a deep olive. The specific shade of green will change depending on the amount of iron in the stone.
The name peridot is a French word derived from the Arabic word "faridat" meaning gem.
Peridot is like a diamond in the fact that it is formed within the Earth in the upped mantle, anywhere from 20 to 55 miles deep! The stones are brought to the surface by tectonic or volcanic activity.
Peridot has been found inside meteorites, meaning it is one of the few stones that have been discovered to exist outside of our solar system!
Peridot was often confused with emeralds in ancient times. For centuries, people believed the impressive 200 carat gems adorning the shrine of the Three Holy Kings in Germany’s Cologne Cathedral were emeralds, but they are in fact Peridots!
In Hawaiian culture Peridot is said to symbolise the tears of Pele, the Goddess of fire and Volcanoes. Due to volcanic activity on the Hawaiian islands, peridot can sometimes be found along the beaches!
As with any gemstone, the price will differ based on the quality of the stone. For an average one carat stone, you are looking at between £43 and £69 a piece. The more impressive, high-quality peridot stones range between £340 and £384 for a one-carat stone. Of course, the bigger you go, the more expensive the stone will become.
